The Chiefs are picking 28th-overall in the 2016 NFL Draft because they are one of the best teams in the National Football League. However, they have some holes that need to be addressed come April 28. With the news of Husain Abdullah retiring, safety has joined the list of needs which already includes cornerback, guard and receiver.
However, the Chiefs likely have already narrowed down the players they are targeting. It has to be a defensive player in this guy’s opinion, although a stud receiver has to be on the radar should a guy like Laquan Treadwell or Corey Coleman slip to the back half of the first round.
