The Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week has concluded, with the team returning to practice on Wednesday ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs’ Week 6 bye marks their earliest break since the 2016 season.
“We’ve normally had them [around the] ninth week or plus — somewhere in that area,” said head coach Andy Reid. “Our schedule is crazy enough where you’re going to get some days off, and it’s important to take advantage of those days, so that’s what I would tell you.”
Kansas City infamously plays every day of the week except Tuesday during its 2024 schedule.
