The Kansas City Chiefs checked in for their second day of mandatory minicamp on Wednesday afternoon, getting some more work in before the big kahuna of training camp in late July and August. The day was most quiet, which means nothing terrible happened.
Of all the notes, the main thing that stands out is tight end Travis Kelce apparently had a very good day. Kelce is coming off a season where he led the team with 862 yards and five touchdowns, all basically in his rookie campaign (he was technically a rookie in 2013, but didn’t play a regular-season down due to microfracture surgery on his knee).
