KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Andy Reid’s time as coach of the Kansas City Chiefs has been notable for some long winning streaks. The Chiefs reeled off nine straight victories in 2013, his first season in Kansas City, and 11 straight last year.
The Chiefs could well be in the early stages of another such run. The 4-2 Chiefs collected their second straight convincing victory on Sunday by beating the New Orleans Saints 27-21 at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs weren’t as dominant this time as they were in beating the Raiders in Oakland the previous week, when they held the ball for almost 37 minutes and limited the previously high-scoring Raiders to a field goal after their opening possession.
