The Kansas City Chiefs made two minor transactions on Wednesday, according to the NFL’s official transaction report. First, the Chiefs released tight end Neal Sterling, whom they had signed in mid-June.
The seven tight ends still on the Chiefs roster, including Travis Kelce, have already reported to camp.
“I think it is good to have them here,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said of all the tight ends Wednesday after practice. “This is probably the deepest we’ve been at that spot since I’ve been here for this camp.
