In a surprising move, the Kansas City Chiefs have signed Darrelle Revis. Revis started for 15 games for the New York Jets last season where he posted a stat line of one interception, five passes defended, and 53 tackles. Even with this solid stat line the Jets still decided to cut him when they started cleaning house this past offseason.
Since then he has drawn some interest from NFL teams including the Los Angeles Chargers but had remained unsigned until now. This seems to be signaling that the Chiefs are finally coming to terms with their cornerback situation that currently has Terrance Mitchell and Phillip Gaines who rank 92nd and 118th out of all corners in the league according to Pro Football Focus.
