Earlier this week, the Kansas City Chiefs announced the termination of two employees, namely that they were moving on from two front office execs in Will Lewis, the Director of Pro Scouting, and Trip MacCracken, the Director of Football Administration. The Chiefs have now filled one of those holes with the hiring of Tim Terry away from the Green Bay Packers.
Lewis had been with the Chiefs since 2013, when John Dorsey first arrived in K.C. from Green Bay himself, after a stint with the Seattle Seahawks. Terry will now take over in the primary directorial role after serving as the Packers’ assistant Director of Pro Personnel since 2008, a period of nine years studying next to Ted Thompson and learning the sack Packer way that has made Dorsey who he is.
