According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, the Cincinnati Bengals have come calling with a claim on cornerback Torry McTyer from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad. That means the Chiefs now have a hole to fill after losing McTyer for nothing.
The Chiefs added McTyer to the practice squad after active rosters were due in early September. McTyer had never once played for the Chiefs, but for a team in need of cornerback help and depth, the signing made sense. McTyer came into the league in 2017 with the Miami Dolphins and played in 22 games for them over the last two years, including four starts made last season.
