The Kansas City Chiefs said that five players would not practice on Wednesday, as the team turned its attention to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Head coach Andy Reid revealed that running back Isiah Pacheco, cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, left tackle Donovan Smith, wide receiver Kadarius Toney and cornerback Jaylen Watson would be out of the mix.
Pacheco is still in concussion protocol — and since the game is being played on a short week, it’s possible he will miss Sunday’s matchup. If that’s the case, backup running back Clyde Edwards-Helarie would be in line to make his third start in four games.
