KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs said linebacker Justin Houston won't play on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, reversing themselves after indicating Houston would make his season debut this week.
Houston was listed as out for Sunday's game on the Chiefs' final injury report of the week.
Coach Andy Reid indicated Houston, who had surgery in February to repair a balky left ACL, didn't have a setback but the Chiefs just decided to give him one more week of rest.
"He had a very good week,'' Reid said.
