With their second pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs added another promising talent: former BYU offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia, who hopes to make his extensive football family proud as he continues his lifelong dream.
“I definitely had that dream since I was a little kid back in Hawaii,” Suamataia told reporters before Sunday’s session of the team’s three-day rookie minicamp. “Back at home, I was the biggest kid. I could tell you now, I wasn’t that good at football. But the NFL was definitely a big dream of mine.”
Suamataia’s family tree has deep roots in pro football.
