This is a very, very "offseason post" for us. Player X says he's developed a nice chemistry with Player Y.
The Chiefs are supposed to be looking good when they're playing in shorts but Maclin told the media on Tuesday that he's off to a "great start" with Alex Smith, who he described as smart and someone who could make all the throws. (I am still waiting for the first person to say that they're not off to a great start and that their quarterback isn't very smart.)
Maclin, a six-year veteran, said he has hooked up with Alex in practice and that this isn't their first rodeo, referencing their combined 16 years in the league.
