Chiefs injury updates: Kendall Fuller likely to play against Seattle after successful surgery

Reports that Kansas City Chiefs starting cornerback Kendall Fuller would have hand surgery surfaced Friday morning, and although Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed those reports Monday, it does not appear Fuller will miss much time, if any at all.

Kendall Fuller did have surgery on his hand, he’s doing well,” Reid told the local media on Monday. “This is a short-term thing, so there’s a good chance he has an opportunity to play in the game coming up (against Seattle) here.”

Fuller suffered the hand injury in the game against the Baltimore Ravens, causing him to wear a wrap against Los Angeles and then needing the surgery Friday.
