The Kansas City Chiefs are starting the second half of the season on Sunday afternoon against the Denver Broncos, and they could be without a starter on the offensive line.
Left guard Ben Grubbs has been dealing with a somewhat mysterious neck injury since the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and has still not been cleared to practice. Nobody knows if the injury will end his season, although the team thought it was serious enough to do another MRI earlier this week. Tests did not reveal anything new, so it is a day-by-day process.
Also listed as out for the second straight day is outside linebacker Tamba Hali.
