Chiefs injury report ahead of Thursday night’s game against Packers

Starting right guard Dr. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and cornerback Steve Nelson cleared the concussion protocol and returned to practice on Monday afternoon, as the Kansas City Chiefs began preparations for Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers.

Andy Reid typically holds out most of his starters for the fourth and final preseason game, and that once again seems like the plan headed into Thursday.

  • CB Step Durham (hip)
  • DL Justin Hamilton (ankle)
  • S Eric Berry (heel)
  • Daniel Sorensen (Knee)

Though Monday marks the 16th consecutive day of Berry being held out of workouts, we’ve now reached the part of the preseason where if there is any question, it’s smart to be cautious.
