The Kansas City Chiefs continue to be the walking wounded in the secondary, with rookie corner D.J. White breaking his hand.
On Wednesday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid gave some updates on the injuries around the roster. FOr starters, rookie sixth-round pick D.J. White will miss this week’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with a fractured hand. However, Reid made it clear that White could return at some point, so this may not be a season-ending situation.
On the offensive side, right tackle Mitch Schwartz has a sprained ankle and won’t practice. Schwartz has never missed a snap in five NFL seasons, so hopefully he can recover quickly and get back on the field for Sunday.
