Adam Caplan of ESPN is reporting that the Chiefs are bringing in free agent TE Gavin Escobar for a visit on Friday.
This is the first reported interest in Escobar since the free agent market officially opened several weeks ago.
Escobar, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4.21 million rookie contract with the Cowboys and is testing the open market for the first time in his career.
In 2016, Escobar appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and caught four passes for 30 yards receiving and one touchdown.
