Another Chiefs player is listed as day-to-day with a foot injury.
This time it’s wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who injured his right foot against the Browns on Sunday. Watkins was spotted leaving the locker room after the game, limping and walking slowly.
Coach Andy Reid downplayed Watkins’ injury after the game, but said on Wednesday that Watkins wouldn’t practice.
“Sammy’s is a day-to-day thing,” Reid said. “He hurt his foot. He’s working on it. He is making progress, but we’ll hold him out today.”
Watkins is one of five Chiefs players who didn’t practice Wednesday.
