PITTSBURGH -- The Kansas City Chiefs are heading into their bye week with more to contemplate than they would prefer.
Their offense has been rotten for most of their four games. Their defense has been all over the place just in the past two weeks, from the high of eight forced turnovers against the New York Jets to the low of five touchdown passes by Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in Sunday night's 43-14 loss to the Steelers.
That’s a lot going wrong for a team that fancied itself as a Super Bowl contender.
