ATLANTA – The Kansas City Chiefs made what for them is a rare visit to Georgia on Sunday with but one thing on their collective mind. That thing wasn’t Thursday night’s showdown for first place in the AFC West against the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs put everything they had into beating the Atlanta Falcons. The Chiefs, and not the high-scoring Falcons, were the team with the big-play offense. Even Andy Reid, not much of a gambler since joining the Chiefs, had his team try to convert in non-traditional situations twice on fourth-down plays.
The Chiefs didn’t just convert each time.
