Entering the 2019 season, the Kansas City Chiefs were supremely confident in their special teams play, with renowned coach Dave Toub leading a group with the experience and the pedigree to give the team great opportunities for success in the big-play phase of the game. Kicker Harrison Butker and punter Dustin Colquitt are the headline pieces, but long snapper James Winchester has also been a staple to this unit for several years.
If there was any concern at all entering the year, it was actually the potential for Toub to become a head coach somewhere else.
