KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs lost lineman Chris Jones, one of their most valuable defensive players, with a groin injury in the third quarter of Sunday night's 19-13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Jones, who led the Chiefs with 15.5 sacks last season, had one tackle and two quarterback hits before departing.
The Chiefs also lost two other defensive players for the game. Linebacker Anthony Hitchens left with a groin injury and lineman Xavier Williams with an ankle injury.
