Chiefs defeat Raiders 31-17 in Week 12

In the NFL’s Week 12, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 31-17 at Allegiant Stadium, giving Kansas City a 8-3 record for the 2023 season.

On their opening possession, the Raiders executed a 9-play, 75-yard drive that featured a 33-yard reception by Davante Adams and ended with a 18-yard catch-and-run by Jakobi Meyers to give Las Vegas a 7-0 lead. Then the Raiders forced a three-and-out and drove right back down the field — but when it stalled, Daniel Carlson missed a 30-yard field goal. Kansas City punted after four snaps — and one play later, Josh Jacobs broke a 63-yard touchdown run to give the Raiders a 14-0 lead just a couple of minutes into the second quarter.
