The Kanas City Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos, 29-19, at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night to move to 6-2 on the season.
The Chiefs’ defense forced a season-high five turnovers, including a 45-yard fumble return for a touchdown by cornerback Marcus Peters, in the victory.
Peters also had an interception in the contest, notching his league-leading 17 since 2015, while defensive backs and tallied their first picks of the year.
Chiefs’ quarterback Alex Smith completed 14 of 31 passes for 202 yards and a score, finding tight end Travis Kelce for a 29-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
