KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The 10-5 Kansas City Chiefs are in the playoffs but from there, things can get fuzzy. They can still be the AFC West champions and, at the very least, will reach the postseason as a wild-card entrant and as such could wind up as the AFC’s fifth or sixth overall seed.
Let’s look at the various scenarios that would get the Chiefs the AFC West championship, the fifth seed or the sixth seed.

Any combination of Chiefs victories and Denver Broncos defeats that equal two in the remaining regular-season games would win the division title for Kansas City.
