The Kansas City Chiefs have been awarded an additional selection in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
As Schefter notes, the big winners are the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams, who were each awarded two third-round picks. The Chiefs’ additional pick comes from losing nose tackle Bennie Logan to the Tennessee Titans in last year’s free agency period.
The Chiefs traded their 2019 fourth-round pick for linebacker Reggie Ragland. The Chiefs now hold eight picks in the draft.
