When the NFL Draft concludes next Saturday, we will have a clear picture of what the Kansas City Chiefs’ 90-man roster will look like heading into training camp, the preseason and (eventually) the campaign to three-peat as Super Bowl champions.
With that clarity will come the beginning of 53-man projections — and I suspect that in that exercise, many will assume Kadarius Toney would be the odd man out of the wide receiver room. After playing a vital role in the Super Bowl LVII win over the Philadelphia Eagles with his late-game punt return and touchdown, Toney had an underwhelming 2023 season.
