The National Football League announced today that the Kansas City Chiefs will be one of eight teams to host its own Madden 17 competition as part of the league’s Madden Club Series. The e-sports competition allows football fans to compete in a local tournament, eventually crowning the best Madden 17 player from Chiefs Kingdom.
Kansas City Chiefs fans, and fans from across the country, can register for online qualification beginning today, with an online ladder tournament kicking off on Monday, January 9. Registration is available at www.easports.com/madden-nfl/compete/register/madden-nfl-club-series.
From the start of the ladder tournament through early February, fans across each of the eight NFL club markets will compete head-to-head to determine the top eight players representing each team.
