On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs announced a roster move and downgraded two injured players to out for Sunday’s Week 4 road game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The roster move — which elevates rookie cornerback Dicaprio Bootle from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game — was announced through the team’s official Twitter account.
Earlier in the week, the team had protected Bootle on the practice squad, blocking any other team from signing him before Sunday. As an elevated player, Bootle will automatically be returned to the practice squad roster after the game.
