Chiefs announce ‘Red Wednesday’ flag sales for September 4 — and an early presale

The Kansas City Chiefs have a longstanding tradition of selling commemorative team flags to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. These have typically been made available on the first “Red Friday” of the season: the Friday before the team’s home opener.

But for the third time since 2020, the Chiefs are coming off a Super Bowl victory. So once again, the team has announced that the commemorative flags will be sold on “Red Wednesday” September 4 — the day before the Chiefs will the 2024 NFL season with a Thursday night game against the Baltimore Ravens on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
