Chiefs’ Andy Reid, upset with officials, has words with Rams’ Jared Goff, too

The NFL took the unusual step of having an “all-star” officiating crew work Monday night’s game between the Rams and Chiefs, and well, Kansas City fans weren’t impressed early.

The Rams took the opening kickoff on Monday night and drove 75 yards in six plays for a touchdown.

Two penalties helped the Rams along the way.

Orlando Scandrick was called for pass interference and Eric Murray was flagged for unnecessary roughness that helped Los Angeles.

Both calls seemed questionable, but the latter was particularly egregious.

Murray appeared to get to Rams receiver Robert Woods at the same time as the ball:

The "All-Star" #NFL officiating crew called this unnecessary roughness.
