The Kansas City Chiefs made a roster move on Tuesday, adding defensive back/strong safety Chris Cooper to the practice squad.
Cooper, 24, first entered the league in 2018 as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts but was waived by the team with an injury designation prior to the 53-man roster deadline.
Cooper spent a couple weeks on the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad before being released last week and landing with the Chiefs on Tuesday.
The 5-foot-10, 202-pound Cooper spent three years at Stony Brook University (2015-17), where he compiled 147 tackles, five pass breakups and four interceptions.
