Chiefs’ cornerback Marcus Peters won’t play in Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
But linebacker Justin Houston is scheduled to play, and so is long snapper James Winchester.
Peters suffered a hip pointer in last week’s victory at Carolina, but he remained in the game and provided the takeaway that set up the game-winning field goal.
Houston hasn’t played this season. He underwent surgery in February to repair damage to his knee and started this season on the physically unable to perform last.
In his first five seasons, Houston, who has 56 career sacks, was selected to four Pro Bowls and was an All-Pro selection in 2010.
