The Chicago Bears have turned to a familiar face for head coach Matt Nagy to help bolster their special teams and secondary units with the signing of safety Jordan Lucas.
Lucas has spent the last couple years in Kansas City as part of Dave Toub’s celebrated special teams units and as important depth at safety, especially in 2018 when injuries and a lack of top-end talent created major concerns in the defensive backfield. Lucas then hit unrestricted free agency this year and the Chiefs made no overtures, at least known about to the press, to keep him.
