Charcandrick West made it clear he was ecstatic to return to the Kansas City Chiefs. In fact, he called it home. But what’s also been made clear through various members of the team meeting with reporters since his return is that the team is just as excited to have him back.
West was first let go by the Chiefs about one week before regular season rosters were due to cut back to 53 players from the preseason limits of 90. It’s a massive cut that leads to many players becoming unemployed, and the Chiefs gave West a bit of a headstart in the process by cutting him a few days early.
