When I was writing this week about the Kansas City Chiefs right guard situation with Laurent Duvernay-Tardif out this week, I talked about Jordan Devey or Parker Ehinger as his possible replacements. One name I didn’t mention is Cam Erving.
So of course Erving is going to start tonight at guard as the Chiefs visit the Texans on Sunday Night Football. They made the announcement shortly before the game.
Erving came over from Cleveland in a trade and when that trade was made the Chiefs said they saw him as more of a swing tackle than an interior linemen so I didn’t consider him at guard.
