The Browns’ current general manager, John Dorsey, originally signed Mitchell, 25, to the Chiefs’ practice squad in 2016 and became a role player for Kansas City in 2017, starting nine games. Mitchell registered four interceptions and 18 passes defensed.
Dorsey obviously liked Mitchell, as he originally signed him, and now the two reunite in Cleveland.
