Brown, Edwards-Helaire and Jones again miss Chiefs practice — but a starter returns

On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs conducted their eighth 2024 training camp practice at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph — a light, unpadded 10-10-10 session that rotated 10 offensive plays, 10 defensive plays and 10 minutes of special teams work.

Wide receiver Hollywood Brown (illness) and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) were absent for the second straight day. Defensive tackle Chris Jones was once again present without a helmet. On Sunday, cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (hamstring) and wide receiver Justin Watson (foot) were present, but did not participate. Both were absent on Monday.

But left guard Joe Thuney (pectoral) passed his physical on Monday, which removed him from the Active/PUP (physically-unable-to-perform) list.
