For quite some time, there was nothing but silence between Branden Albert and the Jacksonville Jaguars. New head coach Doug Marrone couldn’t explain it, telling the press that he’d attempted to reach out to the veteran left tackle but that he’d yet to hear a reply. Organized team activities came and went and questions circled as to whether Albert would ever join his brand new team. Now those questions have been answered with word that Albert will indeed join the jags at the team’s upcoming mandatory minicamp.
Albert was traded to the Jaguars earlier this offseason from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 7th round selection.
