Best decision Chiefs made was to get rid of Dwayne Bowe

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The worst player personnel move made by the Kansas City Chiefs in almost three years under general manager John Dorsey and coach Andy Reid was to sign veteran wide receiver Dwayne Bowe to a lucrative, long-term contract in early 2013.

The best move the Chiefs made during that time came early this year when Dorsey and Reid recognized their mistake and cut Bowe despite a considerable cost to their salary cap.

The Chiefs will get a look at just how good a move that was Sunday, when Bowe and his Cleveland Browns teammates come to Arrowhead Stadium to play the Chiefs.
