Bennie Logan knows his place.
Even as an established veteran tasked with filling big shoes in the wake of Dontari Poe’s departure, the former Philadelphia Eagle says he’s well aware of his role as a new addition to the team. While not exactly a rookie, the defensive tackle is doing all he can to learn the ropes, learn from others and slowly earn respect from teammates. He sounds like an ideal addition.
“Even though this is going on my fifth year in the league, when you come into a new team, you’ve got to earn their respect,” says Logan when talking to reporters on Wednesday from the Chiefs minicamp.
