Baker, Thornhill and Charlton all participate in first training camp practice

With quarterbacks, rookies and a few other players available, the Kansas City Chiefs ran their first practice of training camp on Saturday morning.

After the first group of players reported on Friday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that 30 players were in camp for the three light sessions that will be conducted before the rest of the 90-man roster reports on Monday. According to friend-of-the-site Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest, a total of 28 players were on the field for the first practice.

A total of 28 players were on the field today for the first day of Chiefs training camp with quarterbacks, rookies and returning injured players.
