As Kelce was coming down and starting to run, he was tackled by Broncos cornerback Kyle Fuller, who knocked the ball out. The ruling on the field was that it was not a Kelce fumble, but an incomplete pass from Mahomes.
The Broncos challenged the call, only for the referees to uphold the call in favor of the Chiefs.
