Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce breaks another one of Tony Gonzalez’s records on Sunday | KC Star
In the third quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs’ “Sunday Night Football” game against the Chargers, Kelce caught a 7-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes that moved the ball to the LA 47-yard line.
That pushed Kelce’s career receiving yardage over 12,000, the Chiefs noted. Kelce was playing in his 172nd career game, and he reached that milestone yardage in record fashion. The old NFL mark was held by former Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, who did it in 210 games.
