Anthony Hitchens unworried about Nick Bolton on Sunday: ‘He’s definitely ready’

The Kansas City Chiefs entered the offseason expecting big things from second-year linebacker Willie Gay Jr., who had the misfortune to come into the NFL during a year without full opportunities for offseason preparation.

Still, Gay managed to show us something during his limited snaps during 2020. He was just starting to come into his own when he suffered a high-ankle sprain during the Week 17 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, in which Kansas City rested its starters. That injury kept him out of the first two postseason games, and a meniscus tear in February spoiled any opportunity to play in Super Bowl LV.
