Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid met with the media via Zoom on Monday, less than 24 hours after the team’s 27-20 Week 8 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
In his opening statement, Reid praised his defense for holding Las Vegas when “our back was to the wall,” noting that the unit accumulated five sacks and defensive tackle Chris Jones had been strong against the run. He also said that the team would be working on getting the young players going in the secondary, referring to Joshua Williams and Chris Roland-Wallace as players who will be stepping up in the absence of Jaylen Watson and Nazeeh Johnson.
