With a “Monday Night Football” matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the horizon, the Kansas City Chiefs returned to practice on Thursday.
Three players on Kansas City’s current 53-man roster were held out due to injury: backup offensive tackle Ethan Driskell, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and cornerback Nazeeh Johnson. Driskell was sick, and Smith-Schuster is rehabbing a hamstring injury.
The #Chiefs opted not to place him on injured reserve, indicating they anticipate his availability by at least Week 11 vs. Buffalo. https://t.co/ZINwzCWULP

Johnson continued working through the concussion protocol.
