A day that many felt would never come did so on Wednesday, as running back Kareem Hunt took the practice field for the Kansas City Chiefs. It had been about five years and eight months since his misrepresentations regarding off-the-field situations caused Kansas City to abruptly release him.
As of Wednesday, he’s a member of its practice squad.

“We’ll get him in here and get some work, kind of get him back in the swing of playing, and then we’ll just see,” said head coach Andy Reid prior to taking the practice field.
