During the Kansas City Chiefs’ offseason, much of the focus has been on the defensive line, where star tackle Chris Jones might take more snaps as an edge rusher — something that has been made possible — at least in part — by the acquisition of former Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Jarran Reed.
But there are other new (and fairly new) faces on the team’s defense — some of whom have been getting additional snaps during the first few days of training camp.
One of them is second-year linebacker Willie Gay Jr., who spent the offseason rehabbing from surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee.
