KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The most striking thing about quarterback Kevin Hogan from the recently concluded Kansas City Chiefs rookie camp is his unorthodox delivery. His throwing motion is far from smooth. It’s almost as if Hogan is shot-putting the football.
Yet, Hogan has a way of getting the ball where it needs to go. As long as that remains the case, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he’s not tempted to tinker with Hogan's delivery.
“Philip (Rivers) has got a little bit of an awkward delivery and the guy, he plays (well),’’ Reid said of the long-time San Diego Chargers quarterback.
